Smiles of Sad Men was produced by Holiday Films in coproduction with isprodukce, Filmowy Uzel Zlin, the City of Zlin, Love Trouble and Urologická Klinika.

The Polish/French/British coproduction Cold War directed by Pawel Pawliokowski was released by Aerofilms in 13 cinemas also on 12 July 2018. The film was ranked 12th after the first weekend with 1,114 admissions.

Cold War was produced by Opus Film, Apocalypso Film and MK Production. The coproducers are Arte France, Canal+ Polska, Kino Świat, EC1 Łódź - Miasto Kultury, Mazovia Film Fund, Silesia Film Fund and Podkarpacie Film Fund.
