WROCLAW: SOFA, School of Film Agents has invited eight young film agents for a ten-day workshop training to Wroclaw, Poland, from 21 to 30 August 2015. The participants are from Serbia, Tajikistan, Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Germany, Slovakia and Poland.

ZAGREB: HBO issued a statement confirming that the 6th season of the popular series Game of Thrones will not return to Croatia even if the fifth season is shot there this fall.

WARSAW: Netflix plans to enter the Polish market.  No date has been made public, but according to Netflix’s website the service will soon be available to customers in Poland.

PRAGUE: Czech director Milan Cieslar’s hit comedy Life is Life showed a 21 percent uptick in Czech cinemas in its thirteenth week in release. The film topped the Czech box office for several weeks after its release earlier this year.
