German Films supports foreign theatrical releases of German films with 257,490 Euro
In the fourth and last meeting of 2024, German Films „Distribution Support" awards committee decided to support 31 foreign theatrical releases of German films. In total 257,490 Euro were allocated.
Three German productions in competition categories at the film festival in Rotterdam
A diverse and exciting programme was unveiled for the 54th edition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. The festival’s next edition will be held from January 30 to February 9, 2025. The line-up includes 32 German productions and co-productions, including three films in the competition categories.

15 German productions and co-productions at the anniversary edition of Zurich Film Festival
The Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) will be celebrating an anniversary this year with the staging of its 20th edition. So, it’s fitting that the programme is promising to deliver a diverse line-up with numerous world and European premieres. From a German perspective, there will be 15 productions and co-productions being shown at the Swiss festival. The 20th edition of the ZFF takes place from October 3 to 13, 2024.
