Over the last few years, things have changed significantly in terms of industry opportunities at the Transilvania International Film Festival (May 29 –June 7, Cluj). The festival’s 14th edition will offer a program for emerging filmmakers, workshops, a pitching session and a think-tank platform, among others. These programs aim to help local filmmakers and to improve communication in terms of co-production in the area. Master classes open to the participants and to the general public will also take place during Transilvania IFF.
Transilvania IFF, the largest film festival in Romania, kicks off in Cluj, on Friday, May 29, for 10 days. At its 14th edition, 223 films from over 60 countries will be screened and accompanied by concerts, special screenings, master classes, workshops and parties. Roughly 850 guests are expected - including Nastassja Kinski, Isaach de Bankolé and directors Bent Hamer and Agustí Villaronga. Romanian directors will present world premieres during the Romanian Days (June 4-6).

KRAKOW: The 55th Krakow Film Festival has started. It will run from 30 May until the 7 June 2015. One of the oldest film events, dedicated to documentary, animated and short fiction films in Europe, this year viewers will have the opportunity to watch abotu 250 films from Poland and abroad. In the National Competition alone there are 41 films.
ZLIN: The 55th edition of the Zlin Film Festival for Children and Youth opens 29 May and runs through 4 June 2015.
