ZAGREB: Thirteen debut or second feature films are running for the Golden Pram at the 13th edition of Zagreb Film Festival (14-22 November 2015).

ZAGREB: The Croatian Audiovisual Centre allotted 2,619,419 EUR / 19,955,870 HRK in grants for feature films, debut feature films and minority coproductions.

BUCHAREST: Alexandru Belc's long documentary Cinema, Mon Amour is part of the campaign Save the Big Screen which has led to the digitalisation of 35 old Romanian cinemas since 2014.

BUCHAREST: The aggregate turnover of the film industry in Romania is approximately 53 m EUR, out of which 82% is generated by foreign films shot in Romania. Despite this, no tax incentives are in sight yet.

VALLETTA: Rebecca Cremona's debut feature Simshar, Malta's first ever submission to the Oscars, has been picked up by the American sales agent Gravitas Ventures. The film will be realeased on all major VOD operators in North America on 3 November 2015, before rolling out worldwide.

TBILISI: The 3rd edition of CinéDOC-Tbilisi, the only International Documentary Film Festival in the Caucasus, will take place from 21 to 25 October 2015.

BUCHAREST: Central European Media Enterprises (CME) has sold MediaPro Studios to a group of prominent American and Romanian investors including Donald Kushner and Bobby Păunescu.
