VARNA: Acclaimed actor/director/writer Ivaylo Hristov’s feature film Losers will screen in the main competition of the 33rd Golden Rose National Film Festival (6-11October 2015). The film premiered at the 37th Moscow International Film Festival where it received the Golden George Award and the Russian Film Critics Prize.
VARNA: Ivan Cherkelov’s new feature Family Relics will have its world premiere in the main competition of the 33rd Golden Rose NFF (6-11 October 2015). The date of the domestic release has not been confirmed yet.
VARNA: Award winning documеntary director Atanas Kiryakov’s feature film Barter will vie in the main competition of the 33rd Golden Rose NFF (6-11October 2015). The film will be released domestically before the end of 2015.
SOFIA: Konstantin Bojanov’s first English-language film, I Want to be Like You, wrapped the Bulgarian shooting and is currently shooting in Belgium until 12 October 2015.
VARNA: Ventsislav Vasilev’s debut feature Snow will vie in the main competition of the 33rd Golden Rose National Film Festival (6-11October 2015). The first Bulgarian/Ukrainian coproduction was also selected for the international competition of the 31st Warsaw Film Festival (9-18 October 2015).
VARNA: Kamen Kalev’s third feature Face Down will have its world premiere in the main competition of the 33rd Golden Rose NFF (6-11October 2015). The theatrical release of this French/Belgian/Bulgarian coproduction is planned for 16 October 2015.
VARNA: Antoniy Donchev’s debut feature The Woman of My Life will vie in the main competition of the 33rd Golden Rose National Film Festival (6-11 October 2015). Domestic release is scheduled after the forthcoming participation in Sofia Cinemania film show .
VARNA: Dimitar Dimitrov’s debut feature Corpse Collector will vie in the main competition of the 33rd Golden Rose National Film Festival (6-11October 2015). Domestic release is planned for the beginning of 2016.
VARNA: Michaela Komitova’s debut feature11th A Grade will have its world premiere in the main competion of the 33rd Golden Rose National Film Festival (6-11October 2015). Domestic release is planned for 2016.
VARNA: Maya Vitkova’a debut feature Viktoria was originally scheduled to screen in the competition of the 32nd Golden Rose Film Festival in 2014 but as the president of the jury Emil Hristov was involved in the early stages of production it was screened out of competition. This year the film will vie in the main competition of the festival which takes place from 6 to 11 October 2015.
