Batumi 7th International Art-House Film Festival (BIAFF), 16-23 September 2012.
BIAFF was established in 2006. The founder and organizer – Batumi Art-house “ARGANI”, official partner – Batumi City Hall.
Festival Supporters – “Open Society – Georgia” Fund, Polish Film Institute, British Council, “Airzena”, Batumi International Container Terminal.
Batumi International Art-House Film Festival (BIAFF) is being held annually in Batumi and is one of the major cultural events Georgia.Among the honorary guests of festival were – Krzysztof Zanussi, Jerzy Radziwiłowicz, Jerzy Stuhr, Zbigniew Rybczyński (Poland), Jos Stelling (Netherlands), Otar Iosseliani, Mikheil Kobakhidze, Nino Kirtadze (France/Georgia), Nana Jorjadze, Irakli Kvirikadze (Georgia), Manijeh Hekmat, Dariush Mehrjui, Mohsen Amir Yousefi, Abbas Kiarostami, Ramtin Lavafipour (Iran), Paweł Pawlikowski (UK/Poland), Sidiqq Barmak (Afganistan) etc.
This year BIAFF program present 40 full-length films and 40 short length films from 20-22 countries.
BIAFF has chosen the members of Short film international Jury and short length films for the competition.
In this year BIAFF program will be presented in different sections with almost 40 full-length films and 40 short length films from 20-22 countries.
BIAFF management already arranged choosing of festival’s short length film international competition Jury and short length films.
