During the Black Nights Film festival, Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, a leading summit and trade fair for audiovisual industry professionals, will take place from 15 to 22 November, hosting nearly 120 lectures, masterclasses and workshops. TV Beats Forum addresses several burning issues in the drama series industry
TV Beats Forum, the drama series strand of Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event, welcomes guests on 18-20 November. The program tackles many urgent topics in the field such as challenges in financing, audience engagement and takes a closer look at the case studies of many series to be screened during the first ever TV Beats Screening Days.
Meet the organisers! Petri Kemppinen and Roosa Toivonen, two seasoned experts of international film and TV content, have joined join the team as Co-Heads of the event.
In addition the programme will launch the Honorary TV Beats Producer Award, which will be presented in 2024 to Ukrainian independent producer Kateryna Vyshnevska. The selection includes a world premiere of the Estonian historical crime series Von Fock.
It the perfect place to meet the key international players in the region. Starting from small steps from 2018, with a one-day programme, it aims to build a drama series co-production market in the coming years. Its prime objective is to inspire and facilitate the entry of regional producers and service providers into the international series co-production industry, exploring global success stories from multinational productions. Learn from experts in the field how to create a successful drama series and get a comprehensive overview of industry trends while participating in a wide range of masterclasses. The organisers will also present a catalogue of the most successful works.
