With his second feature film Cypriot Christos Georgiou seems to come in due season this summer: released at the beginning of June in Germany, Small Crime already achieved figures of more than 350.000 Euros at the box-office.
Small Crime, produced by Twenty Twenty Vision in co-production with Lychnari Productions and Bad Movies, is a witty, heartwarming comedy about the police graduate Leonidas, who is stuck up in a small, sleepy island in the Aegean. While dreaming of solving serious crimes in the big city, he just chases traffic offenders and nudists on the beach. His life changes, when villager Zacharias is found dead at the bottom of a cliff. The police chief assumes an accident, but Leonidas is convinced that it was murder. While investigating he encounters beautiful tv host Angeliki...
After Tale 52 by Alexis Alexiou, Small Crime is the second Greek film in m-appeal's line-up.
