In Bulgaria the supporting system functions in two major steps:
- Selective commissions choose the projects in accordance with their artistic value.
- After a study of the budget and after the producer having assured the rest of the financing, only then a Financing commission determines and approves the final amount of the national support.
The above list contains the financially approved projects, having received a firm written decision by the Financing commission and therefore having made an agreement with the Executive Agency ‘National Film Centre’.
There are more projects having been selected for national support but they do not have a final decision for the respective amounts.
