Through two unique female personas, the film creates a metaphysical intention where the present seems repeatable as the temptations before the human soul are always the same. But the choice can only be made only after past experiences are passed on and shared with a similar soul in the present. This is the relationship between the fatal Adriana from 1938 and the innocent Yura from 2008.

A maniacal informant creates his own phantom secret-police department. He recruits a group of unsuspecting intellectuals to spy on each other. After the fall of communism he uses his secret archive to wreak havoc on the government. The movie offers a paradoxical twist in the standard representation of totalitarianism as a society of victims and victimizers. This is a story without innocents. Secret policing reveals its dark nature not only in its nauseating cruelties, but most suggestively in its deviant pleasures.

A film about the phenomenal football career and the hectic life of Hristo Stoichkov, the most renowned Bulgarian worldwide.
A dramatic documentary about both the dark and the bright sides of the genius; about the ups and downs of a Bulgarian winner, who is a last-ditcher by nature; about the mission to be a leader, taking the lead in crucial moments; about the real events and the myths; about national self-confidence and national nihilism. This film is a confession with no awkward questions, evasive answers or hidden truths. The work is as relentless in its straightforwardness as Stoichkov's lethal left-footed shot.
Screening: Gray 4 / May 23rd, 15:40
