Living Legends opened in Bulgarian cinemas in February 2014 and has become the most popular Bulgarian film in the last two years. Audiences will remember Iliev for his first film The Foreigner which was also a major local hit.

Made withapproximately 100,000EUR, Living Legends cashed in 50,000 EUR in its first weekend, topping the local box office and surpassing by nearly 50% the weekend results of The Foreigner in 2012. The total box office of Living Legends was over 350,000EUR.

The story of Living Legends revolves around five close friends who meet fifteen years after their graduation ball. The film was shot in several locations at the Black Sea and in Monaco and it stars Orlin Pavlov, Sanya Borisova-Ilieva, Niki Iliev, Dimo Alexiev, Lubomir Kovachev with Michele Placido making a guest appearance.

Iliev produced the film through his company Euro Dialog with most of the funding coming from sponsorship. The film is coproduced by bTV studios.

The film was awarded Best International Feature at the Manhattan IFF and participated in the Official Selection of the Los Angeles South-Eastern European FF 2014.
