The box office of the Croatian films in the first six months of 2014 was 118,703 EUR/906,022 HRK compared to 793,263 EUR/6,054 695 HRK for the same period of 2013. There were five domestic premieres in each period.

This first half of 2014 didn’t see the hits that highlighted the first half of 2013 when Sonja and the Bull, The Priest’s Children and The Mysterious Boy topped the first quarter of the year. 

Total box office was 7,170,939 EUR/54,733,242 HRK in the first half of 2014 compared to 7,670,305 EUR/58,544,730 HRK in the first half of 2013, based on the estimates of Continental Film. The number of premieres was almost the same, with 93 in 2014 and 94 in 2013.
