The grants announced on 5 September 2014 were allotted to projects applying under three deadlines: 28 March 2014 (feature and debut feature production grants), 25 April and 20 June (script and project development grants).

A total of 26 projects applied for production grants (including debut features), and the grants went to four features and four debut features. New projects of Zrinko Ogresta and Pavo Marinković received production grants, while the debut features of Dana Budisavljević (Diana's List/ Dianina lista) and Barbara Vekarić (Aleksi) received production grants.

Of the 95 scripts and projects that applied, HAVC allotted development funding to 20 projects. Hrvoje Hribar, the head of HAVC, said that six of the seven films that received production grants had previously received script and project development grants
