The film will screen in Zagreb only at the Metropolis, which has a capacity of 233 seats and offers state-of-the-art projection and sound. The Metropolis Art House starts regular screenings 6 November, after its September warm-up. The Museum of Contemporary Art web-site (www.msu.hr) will list its schedule with tickets priced at €3.50 and cinema/museum ticket combinations on offer.
The focuses on European films, American independents and features selected from world's most prestigious film festivals and European arthouse cinemas. Dedicated to enriching film culture and complementing the museum's offerings, the thoughtfully curated program is being realized in cooperation with the Culture Club of Zagreb. Program director is Zlatko Vidackovic, a film critic and artistic director of the Pula Film Festival.
The cinema will also screen Croatian shorts before features feature-length films in a nod to their successes at Cannes (www.festival-cannes.com), Berlin (www.berlinale.de) and Sarajevo (www.sff.ba). A children's program will launch soon with a selection of Croatian, European and independent international animated and feature-length films for youth.
