An additional 40 films are competiting in the international section.

The five member jury includes film directorCostas Yiallourides who was the winner of the 2009 Cyprus short film festival.

Alongside the competition sections, the festival will present several parallel events including a selection of award-winning animation films, a three-day film challenge under the title "Shoot 'n Run", a master class on creating films for TV, and the Cyprus Retro Screenings of Cyprus short films over the decades.

The festival is held under the auspices of the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture.
