The film is planned as a Czech-Slovak coproduction and stars rising Slovak actress Judit Bardos. The dark psychological drama is set in a large CEE city where two daughters must decide who will care for their ailing mother. The film encompasses student prostitution, alienation and loneliness as the three women try to resolve their problems.
The 800,000 EUR film received 200,000 CZK for script development. Producer Jordi Niubo is in negotiations with Czech TV, with interest from the public broadcaster’s Ostrava station, and will apply for the next round of funding at the Czech Film Fund. Michal Cerny is the DoP
