MIDPOINT Feature Launch is a professional script development programme intended for young and emerging film professionals for first and second feature films and also professional short films. The workshop will wrap on 26 August 2016. A follow up session will be held during the EAVE Producers Workshop 3 in Prague from 10 to 17 October 2016.

MIDPOINT TV Launch focuses on participants primarily coming from Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Baltic countries and the wider Mediterranean area. Both half-hour (25-30 minutes) and one-hour (40-60 minutes) series' proposals are accepted. The deadline is 16 September 2016. The three workshops will take place in Slovakia on 4-10 November 2016, in Plzen, Czech Republic in April 2017, and in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in August 2017.

As a starter for MIDPOINT TV Launch, award winning american TV series writer Robin Veith held the masterclass Fundamentals of Writing for Television during the Regional Forum / CineLink Drama at the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival.

Robin Veith discussed the development of ideas into television series and how the series is broken down into individual episodes. Also, she talked about the ways American television functions. Examples used mostly focused on her award winning work on Mad Men.  
CineLink Drama, introduced as an addition to Industry Days at Sarajevo FF, comes as an answer to the need for original quality drama series in Southeast Europe. The MIDPOINT masterclass was aimed to promote co-operation with Sarajevo FF, where the third workshop of MIDPOINT TV Launch will take place.
