Czech media income up 11%

Advertising income rose 11.3% for the 12 months ending in October, with income for Czech media reaching CZK 44 billio (€1.7 billion).
According to a report on the Czech news service CTK, 49% of advertising spending went to television. TV advertising during the period rose 11.7%, while advertising in cinemas fell by 32%. CME station Nova TV captures over half of all TV advertising income, and saw its year to date income rise by 21%.
