Palace Cinemas will open three new multiplexes in the Czech Republic in 2010, the company announced on May 20.
The new cinemas will increase the company's presence in the Czech Republic to nine multiplexes with 73 screens. The new multiplexes include an eight-screen cinema in the northeastern industrial city of Ostrava, and five screen cinemas in the towns of Ústí na Labem and Liberec.
Palace Cinemas Central Europe (www.palacecinemas.net) operates a total of 20 cinemas and 170 salles in Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
