Janacek Resigns from Czech TV

Jiří Janeček the General Director of public broadcaster Czech TV (www.ceskatelevize.cz) announced that he will resign from his post at the end of August 2011, after eight years in the position.

Janeček said he is leaving for health reasons, but did not elaborate, although he has had health issues in the past.
