The French success has not been limited to a single film. According to Unifrance's Joel Chapron, French films had some 570,000 admission in 2007, over 4% of the market. French films were out in force at the Karlovy Vary film festival, which runs through July 12. Seventeen French films were selected for screening at the festival, a record number. They include the main competition entries True Enough and the Belgium/France co-production Distant Tremors.
