Machavarian's debut Georgian feature film Salt White (www.saltwhite.ge), produced by Gia Bazgadze, Levan Korinteli and Iaga Grip, has attracted the attention of a number of international film festivals since it premiered in the East of the West competition at the Karlovy Vary IFF (www.kviff.com) in July 2011. The film received a grant of 175,000 GEL (76,000 Euros) from the Georgian National Film Center (www.gnfc.ge).

Salt White, a social drama completely filmed at Georgia's Black Sea coast, will be competing in the feature film competition of Cottbus IFF in November. Tomorrow will be pitched at the East-West Co-production Market Connecting Cottbus.
