A producer-actress-director, Kovacs' feature-length documentary about the 1956 Hungarian Revolution includes archive footages filmed during the Revolution by legendary cinematographers Laszlo Kovacs and Vilmos Zsigmond. Both fled Budapest for Hollywood after taking part as cameramen in the revolution, going on to world fame as cinematographers on such masterpieces as Paper Moon, Easy Riders, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and The Deer Hunter. Kovacs' documentary was last work from Laszlo Kovacs who was also the cinematographer of the documentary and passed away last July. Both Laszlo Kovacs and the Academy Award winner Zsigmond were also executive-producers of the project. The co-writer and co-director of the movie is Endre Hules.

The film was shot on High Definition (HD) in Budapest and in the US, and Russia. The movie includes eyewitness accounts from such high profile political figures as like Henry Kissinger and Otto von Habsburg. The movie's international release was in Hollywood last year at the AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival. There are plans to distribute worldwide in cinemas and on television.
