Emmy Award winner Csupo emigrated to the USA in 1975, establishing his company Klasky-Czupo Inc. with wife Arlene Klasky in 1981. They created the first The Simpsons clips for the Tracey Ullman show and went on to make the first season of the hit animated TV series for 20th Century Fox. Csupo was also involve in creating Rugrats for Nickelodeon TV. Csupo made his feature film debut in 2007 with The Bridge to Terabithia. The film was produced by Walden Media and grossed $136 million dollar in theatrical release.

The Immigrants is an 2-D animation movie originally ordered by an American cabel TV channel. The project was cancelled when the channel had a change in its board of directors. The rights reverted to the director and and Megafilm (www.megafilm.hu) producer Gabor Kalomista joined the project, along with production company Grand Allure. Hungaricom (www.hungaricom.hu) is handling world wide distribution rights.
