The festival looks for the anthropological content of the films and usually selects docs which present and analyse the way of life and culture of people in unprivileged situation.
The festival will also organize a project development workshop for documentary films with nine participating projects from Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Iraq. The aim of the workshop is to encourage co-productions and to enable the production of European documentaries which present the life and culture of Central-European countries. The workshop will be concluded with a pitching forum, where the nine projects will be presented to Hungarian and foreign television editors and producers.
A workshop on documentary film criticism is has also been added to the program.
