Hungary's Public Media Foundation has announced the selection of four directors for the country's public media branches.The board of directors named Balazs Medveczky as general dirctor of Hungarian TV (www.mtv.hu) and Szilveszter Okovacs as general director of Duna TV (www.dunatv.hu).
Csaba Belenessy was chosen as director of MTI news agency and Istvan Jonas was chosen as director of Hungarian Radio.
Medveczky has been acting vice-president of Hungarian TV since March 2008. Okovacs has been an editor and programme presenter at the news channel HirTV since 2002.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
