Made in Hungary, a nostalgic rock 'n' roll musical which opened in February 2009, reached an audience of 225,000 in Hungary. Since then only the romantic comedy Poligamy sold more than 150,000 tickets. Of the remaining Hungarian films, only five film sold more than 10,000 tickets and none sold more than 35,000.
{mosimage}The biggest national hit in the Hungarian cinemas in 2008 was A Kind of America 2, the sequel to the hit 2002 comedy, with 450,000 admissions.
