HBO launched HBO GO, its streaming service for HBO customers, on 6 June 2011 in Hungary.
The service is available to subscribers of TARR Kft, Tolna, Somogy, Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Fejér, Zala and Veszprém who have an HBO MaxPak subscription and broadband internet access.
The introduction of HBO GO in Hungary followed the recent launch of HBO GO in Romania on 1 June 2011, as well as Poland and the Adria region, that is, Serbia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is part of a wider strategy of rolling out HBO GO across the region.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
