Kvedaravičius competed against cinematographers Audrius Kemežys and Ramūnas Greičius. Kemežys has worked with documentary film Raminas, directed by Audrius Stonys. The ceremony held at the St. Kotryna church in Vilnius was organized by the Lithuanian Association of Cinematographers ( www.lac.lt).
The lifetime achievement award was given to Jonas Tomaševičius for cinematography in the feature films Feelings (Jausmai, 1968, directors A. Grikevičius, A. Dausa), Herkus Mantas (1972, director M. Giedrys), Ave, vita (1969, director A. Grikevičius), Perskeltas dangus (1974, director M. Giedrys), Skrydis per Atlantą (1983, director R. Vabalas), and Moteris ir keturi jos vyrai (1983, director A. Puipa).
This year‘s jury of professionals gave a special award to encourage young cinematographers. The certificate went to Linas Dabriška for cinematography on the film Ten reasons (Dešimt priežasčių, directed by A.Blaževičius.
