The findings for Lithuania were particularly favorable. After suffering a dip in cinema audiences, admissions increased 98 percent in 2006 due to the popularity of multiplexes. Overall, the total box office for all Scandinavian and Baltic countries is expected to rise 15 percent by 2011. Other countries featured in the report were Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland and Denmark.

Baltic countries seeing future box office growth
