According to local media The Baltic Course, the production services team previously worked with executive producer Richard Dale on the New York set film "9/11: The Twin Towers." The film is planned to be shown in 2009, to mark the 40th anniversary of the American journey to the moon. James Marsters plays astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

Moonshot films in Lithuania
By FNE StaffBaltic Film Services is providing local production assistance for the telefilm Moonshot. London-based Dangerous Films has partnered with the Discovery Channel, ITV, the History Channel, ProSieben, and TF1 to co-produce the $5 million (€3.2 million) 90-minute special.
