Malta digital TV firm attains subscription goal

    GO Plus TV announced it reached its target of 25,000 subscribers. The telecom company reaches 95% of Malta households.

    Go Plus TV entered the digital TV market in February 2007 with the purchase of Multiplus Ltd. The company invested €2.3 million in upgrades of both TV infrastructure and content between February and October 2007. Subscriptions have grown 25% since October. The company announced that revenue in 2007 was up 2%, to €131.8 million, although before-tax profits fell by 1%, to €27.7 million.
