Not for Your Eyes will follow an encounter of two women - Teresa, a Polish woman who leaves her husband and country to take her children to England, and Elisabeth, a wealthy British woman who employs her. The two struggle with private dramas and disappointments until the arrival of Teresa's husband changes the lives of both women.
Not For Your Eyes is produced Akili Film Production (www.akilifilmproduction.pl), a company created by Trzos, in co-operation with the British company Artemisia Films (www.artemisiafilms.com) and coproduced by Opus Film (www.opusfilm.com). The producer told FNE that the film has a budget of 6 m PLN (1.5 m EUR). The project received development financing from the Polish Film Institute (www.pisf.pl) and the MEDIA Programme (www.ec.europa.eu), and shot a trailer in Poland and the UK in spring 2012.
The lead role will be played by Polish actress Anna Kulesza (Suicide Room, Rose). The director of photography is Witol Stok, the editing will be done by Marcin Kot and the set designer is Joanna Macha. The music composer is Bartek Gliniak.
