According to the PFA's (www.sfp.org.pl) official press release, projects must be submitted from debuting directors or scriptwriters, and the total budget cannot exceed PLN2 million (621,500 EUR). After TVP (www.tvp.pl) joined the project in April, the studio's annual budget was set at 3.4 million Euros, with 1.2 million Euros from TVP. TVP will also handle distribution of the films.
With a focus on helping beginning filmmakers, the studio took over the former PFA program known as "Film Youth," which provides support to debuting documentary filmmakers. The Munk Studio plans to produce 10 short documentaries per year, with a budget of 14,000 Euros for each film, artistic support, and a guaranteed TV screening of the completed film A second program, "Young Animation," is preparing to produce five short animated films per year, with 11,000 euros for each film project, access to professional production equipment, and a TV screening of the completed film. The recruitment of directors and projects is scheduled to end on October 31.

Andrzej Munk Studio starts script recruitment

Newly launched Andrzej Munk Stufio, a joint project of The Polish Filmmakers Association (PFA), the Polish Film Institute,the Ministry of Culture and Polish public broadcaster TVP, announced it is ready to begin production between three to five feature films annually.
