TVP will provide TVN, one of the major players in the private TV sector, with content that will be sold by TVN Agency and its video content service x-news. The clients of the service will have access to news and entertainment programs produced by TVP1, TVP2, TVP Info and TVP Regionalna. The co-operation is another sign of Polish broadcasters responding to the tastes of viewers
preferring web solutions to traditional broadcasting.

"By adding content from TVP to our service we are strengthening our position as the leading provider of short video content on the market," TVN board member Maciej Maciejewski said.

The clients of x-news service are usually Internet portals or other broadcasters that can buy the content and publish it on their websites or use it as part of programming. X-news already offers content from TVN, CNN Newsources, the ENEX group, Orange Sport and others. The service has around 150 new video files available daily for its clients. The content from TVP will be available in segments of up to three minutes and will be free to use through an x-link. The proceeds from the commercials aired before and after the content will be shared by TVN Media and TVP.
