"Three Cousins" will be a family feature film based on the novel written by Rafał Kosik. The script was developed as a part of the MEDIA Programme Sources 2, Script Development Workshops, and Kosik received a screenwriting scholarship for it from the Polish Film Institiute (PISF).

The film will follow a group of three teenage friends that travel to a mysterious palace for their winter break from school. The place is called Three Cousins and is run by two elderly and distinguished ladies. Once the kids reach their destination the main female character Nika suspects that something susipiscious is going on, but her friends ignore her which leads to a series of fantastical events.

The film is the feature production debut for a producer Iwona Harris who is making the film through her company Lollipop Films with the aim to fill the niche of family oriented cinema on the Polish market and produce a picture inspired by works of Tim Burton and Wes Anderson. The project is in development with a planned budget of 3 m PLN. The producer plans to apply for public financing. The DoP for this picture is Arkadiusz Tomiak, who previously worked on Bodo Kox's highly praised feature debut The Girl From the Wardrobe.

The shoot is planned for January of 2015 and the premiere will take place in 2016.
