The Crime is a three-episode mini-series produced for AXN Central Europe by Opus Film. The show was shot in the Hel Penninsula in May on 2014, directed by Greg Zgliński and based on a script written by Igor Brejdygant. The script for the series was based on the Swedish format Morden i Sandhamn.

The series’ main characters are Agnieszka and her husband Cezary who are taking their holiday in a small village by the sea. Suddenly the couple gets mixed up in an investigation of a mysterious murder. Magdalena Boczarska and Radosław Pazura play the leading roles. The cast includes Wojciech Zieliński, Joanna Kulig and Dorota Kolak. The shoot took place on location in small towns Jurata, Jastarnia and Kuźnica, mostly in old or abandoned holiday resorts.
