TVN announce that is planning to produce more feature films and engage in more coproductions. "We have to support the local identity of Polish entertainment, otherwise we won't be able to protect ourselves from Hollywood. This is our main motivation. We believe that we can influence the film and television industry and support its development, enrich it with directors and those who are well known and talented in this area", Marcus Tellenbach, the TVN Group President told FNE.

The station became more involved in the local film production in April of 2015 when it signed a three-year contract with the Polish Filmmakers Association stating that it will support the programme 30 Minutes.

TVN is also one of the coproducers of the Polish-Swedish coproduction Strange Heaven directed by Dariusz Gajewski which will open in the Poland on 16 October 2015. The film was produced by TAKFILM in coproduction with TVN, Agora, East of the West Cinema AB (Sweden) and LSW.
