At a special gala held in Gdynia on 20 September 2016, the Institute recognised the achievements of people and institutions who were active in promoting Polish cinema both locally and abroad in 2015.
The 9th edition's award Committee was headed by the Director of the Polish Film Institute Magdalena Sroka and included: Jakub Duszyński, Maciej Gil, Anna Grygiel, Barbara Hollender, Kaja Klimek, Iwona Kurz, Paweł Łoziński, Ewa Puszczyńska, Tomasz Raczek, Łukasz Ronduda, Adam Trzopek and Magdalena Zimecka.
Munk Studio-Polish Filmmakers Association was awarded for promoting the documentary films, Object by Paulina Skibińska and Starting Point by Michał Szcześniak (both produced by Munk Studio). The 12th European Film Festival Integration You and Me in Koszalin was awarded Best Polish Film Event.
This year the jury did not choose nominees in the Distribution of Polish Film Abroad category.
