WARSAW: SPI’s Kino Polska reported revenues of 82.7 PLN, a 4% increase, at the end of the third quarter of 2016, and profit of 14.7 m PLN. The results are the company’s best in three years. The company’s stock rose nearly 1%, to 12.30 PLN.
The third quarter revenues were 26.6 m PLN, slightly up from the quarterly revenues of 26.3 m PLN of one year ago, although profits of 3.4 m PLN of Q3 2016 were substantially off from its 4.8 m PLN for Q3 2015.
SPI alsro reported higher income in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria and Serbia.
The results were due to 12% higher sales for the company’s Film Box movie and theme channels, and the company also launched Zoom TV in Poland during Q3.
