The list of films nominated for the Eagles includes CANAL+ co-productions, led by Volhynia by Wojciech Smarzowski (Film It) with 14 nominations, followed by Agnus Dei (Aeroplan Film) directed by Anna Fontaine and the crime TV series The Teacher (Canal+, TVN) directed by Łukasz Palkowski, nominated for the Best Feature TV Series.
WARSAW: CANAL+ will be the first official private broadcaster for the Polish Film Awards Polish Eagles, which has its 19th gala edition on 20 March 2017. CANAL+ stepped in after TVP did not express an interest in presenting the event exclusively.
