WARSAW: The Polish Film Institiute gave 2.4 m PLN /565,405 EUR to 15 new Polish documentary films in the first session of financing for 2017.
The largest grant of 220,000 PLN / 51 840 EUR went to a new film from Piotr Stasik entitled Wymyśliłem sobie życie, produced by Running Rabbit Films Joanna Ronikier.
The financing was part of the Film Production: Documentary Film Production progamme at the Polish Film Institute and the grants were assigned by a special Committee of experts including Lidia Duda, Grzegorz Górny, Jerzy Lubach, Paweł Łoziński, Paweł Nowacki and Paweł Woldan.
