The Lodz Film Fund, managed by EC1 Łódź-City Of Culture, held the 10th edition of funding and chose 12 out of 24 submitted projects. This year the funding was made available not only to films that had at least 1 shooting day on location in the Łódź Viodevoiship, but also productions that are in post-production there. Producers who received coproduction grants are obliged to spend 150% of the grant amount in the region.
The largest grant, 270,000 PLN / 63,741 EUR, was given to new drama from Paweł Pawliskowski entitled Zimna wojna / Cold War, produced by Opus Film. Grants of 150,000 PLN / 35,414 EUR each were given to Dom tułaczy, a drama directed by Mariko Saga and produced by Lava Films, and to Przysięga Ireny, directed by Jan Komasa and produced by K&K Selekt.
The Lodz Film Fund supported 5 feature film productions, 4 documentaries and 3 animated films.
