The movie's plot consist of four stories, each shot by a different camera operator.

Pixels, a debut film directed by Jacek Lusinski, presents four episodes evolving around characters who are all typical members of Polish society until their lives turn into a series of surprising events. The four parts of the story, shot by Witold Płociennik, Jan Holoubek, Piotr Sliskowski and Piotr Piesiak, are linked by a mobile phone, traveling from hand to hand.

The movie is produced by Tandem Taren-To (www.tandemtarento.pl), a Polish cinema and television production house responsible for Time to Die directed by Dorota Kedzierzawska. The co-producers are the Polish Telecommunication Co. (Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. www.tp.pl), Mojotribe, Felini, Spectator, Film Ilumination and The Chimney Pot. The production is also supported by PISF and Canal +.

"The shoot ends on October 30 after over 40 picture days. We will enter the post-production stage right after that and the Polish premiere is planned for the late spring of 2009," Piotr Naglowski from Tandem Taren-To told FNE. "The movie's total budget is PLN 2,998,895 (875,000 euros) which includes 290,000 euros of financing from the Polish Film Institute (www.pisf.pl)."

Lusinski is the author of numerous theatrical adaptations, film scripts, and documentaries and has a background directing commercials. The cast of Pixels includes Dorota Stalinska, Adam Ferency, Andrzej Grabowski, Marian Opania, Edward Lubaszenko, Mateusz Damiecki, Olga Boładz and Polish singer and producer Kayah.
