VOD Debuts in Poland

    Onet.pl has launched video on demand programming in Poland, with pay-per-view, as well as free advertise-supported programming including TV series.

    The selection of over 2,100 titles is composed of programmes from TVN's library as well as Hollywood studio productions through a partnership with Warner Bros.

    "Onet.pl has a singular growth objective of becoming the largest commercial VOD provider in Poland and to achieve this goal we must deliver great content and flexible payment options," Lukasz Wejchert, CEO of Onet.pl Group said in a statement.

    Onet.pl is Poland's largest web portal, operating under parent company TVN Group (www.tvn.pl).
