The series is shot in the studios of TVP (www.tvp.pl). The plot concerns a married couple raising their three sons in the city. The lead roles will be played by Małgorzata Kożuchowska and Tomasz Karolak, both very popular for their work in Polish television drama and comedy series such as M jak Miłość (L for Love, TVP2) and 39 i pół (39 and a half, TVN). Rodzinka.pl will have a loose comedy form, based on a series of sketches taking place in the family home.

The shoot started on the 16 November 2010 and will last through March 2011. TVP 2 is committed to shoot one season of 26 episodes with the possibility to continue with production. Rodzinka.pl is directed by Patrick Yoka, a filmmaker and director of several popular television shows. The coordinator of the project is Dorota Kośmicka-Gacke.

The premiere of the series is planned for spring of 2011.
