Spectator will distribute challenging European cinema in Poland and promote Polish film abroad. The new distributor will work outside the mainstream national market, focusing on small local cinemas, series of travelling screenings, and culture centers. The company wants to distingiush itself from other distributors by showing a short films before each long feature screening. Miss Kicki will be accompanied by the Polish short Wszystko (Everything) directed by Artur Wyrzykowski. Spectator is headed by Marek Poznerowicz, a member of the the European Cinema Group of Distributors (EuCiGo), a group based in Zurich, established in November 2010 by 10 European distributors interested in promoting the cinema of the region.
