Romanian film joins EFA nominees

    Paul Negoescu's 24-minute film Renovare (Renovation) is the latest addition to the list of nominees for European Film Academy Short Film 2009.

    The Romanian/German co-production becomes the 10th film to be selected and is the Vila do Conde Short Film Nominee. It participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus.     Among the other films already chosen are two Polish shorts: Poste Restante directed by Marcel Loszinski (www.arkanastudio.pl), and The Glass Trap directed by Pawel Ferdek (www.zflyk.pl).

    The next EFA nomination will be presented at the Sarajevo International Film Festival, Bosnia & Hercegovina. The winner will be presented during the Awards Ceremony on December 12 in Germany's Ruhr Metropolis.
