EFP screens CEE Oscar hopefuls

    European Film Promotion ( www.efp-online.com) has selected four Oscar entries from Central Europe among eight films to be screened during AFM in Beverly Hills.

    The screenings will be open to Academy members as well as film professionals and invited press. Each of the films was submitted for consideration as Best Foreign Language Film at the upcoming Academy Awards(R).

    EFP Vice President Claudia Landsberger said, "With this unique screening series, EFP is focusing attention on some of the best and most exciting filmmaking taking place in Europe today. All of the films were extremely successful in their home countries and at international film festivals, and it is our hope that we can give maximum exposure to these extraordinary films during this decisive time in Los Angeles."
